Q: What size crossbar can I use?
A: The minimum size is 58", but you can also use 66" or 78"
Q: Can I use an adapter to fit a 1 1/4" receiver hitch?
A: No. A 2" receiver hitch is required to support the weight.
Q: Can I use a hitch extension to clear my bumper or spare tire?
A: No. Hitch extensions are not recommended for Yakima products.
Q: Can the DryDock be mounted on the front of a truck?
A: We have not tested the DryDock on front of a truck. This would not be covered under the Yakima warranty and may violate local motor vehicle regulations.
Q: Does the Drydock fold down and away from the vehicle?
A: No.
