Can I use Landing Pads on my vehicle? Look in the Fit List to see what is recommended for your vehicle. Landing Pad 6 is for custom installation in areas where we don’t have a specific recommendation, such as on camper shells (caps, toppers, whatever they call them in your neighborhood). It’s your judgment call to decide if they are appropriate for your purpose. We will likely have ways to carry your gear that doesn’t require a permanent installation. What is the weight limit for Landing Pad 6? A weight limit can only be established through testing. It varies by the strength of the shell, quality of the installation, and too many other factors to guess. This is another area where your judgment will be called upon. |

How many bolts are used/holes are drilled? There are two holes per Landing Pad 6. |

What type of waterproofing is used? Silicone sealant around the bolt holes should do the trick. |
