This rooftop kayak mount features a J-cradle design that gives you loads of functionality without extra bells and whistles (because really, why would we put bells and whistles on a rooftop kayak mount?). The HullRaiser is designed for car rack systems with round or square crossbars.

J-cradle style kayak carrier that fits to roundbars out of the box and/or select factory bars with the use of Mighty Mounts. Bow/stern tiedowns added in 2007.

Q: Do I have to use bow/stern tie-downs?
A: Yes. B/S tiedowns are required with all Yakima boat products.
Q: Can I use MightyMounts?
A: Yes, but you also need the Bolt Upgrade Kit (8860007). To use MightyMounts, we suggest you refer to the instructions.
Q: Can I replace the pads on the bar?
A: Yes, replacement pads are designed to slip right over the mount with no disassembly required.
Q: How many boats can I carry?
A: One boat per set of HullRaisers.
