Use product for commuting to the Park and Ride, for getting up to the trails, for getting to new areas far off, for shuttling with other riders, etc.

The aluminum build is light to install and remove (no poser here) and means rust-free service life and low-hitch weight; bike top-tube holders slide independently, carrier folds down with one easy pin pull for hatch access on my Outback wagon, and the arm folds down when not in use with one easy lever pull; locking cable in super-sano and an option well recommended and so very easy to use for securing bikes to carrier with a neatly designed retracted spot when not in use; the hitch tightening knob removes ALL wobble and locks easily which is a huge selling point and being reward facing, the knob is easily accessed and stays relatively free of mud, etc.; the hitch-mount arm fits my other vehicle with a two inch hitch so very versatile in that regard with the additional small, easily added adapter; pivot-pin (one-time install only) even has a rubberized wrench; safety pin for hitch has a lanyard and mounts long enough to clear big bumpers (check fit for your vehicle); I have been waiting awhile for a product like this, was worth the wait!

Carrier sits very high on a low wagon and blocks rear views a bit, but I suspect it is probably better with taller SUVs and higher-cabin vehicles like most late made cars now. As the carrier does sit high, it means slanted top-tube bikes have their rear wheel higher off the ground and so less prone to rim pitting from gravel spray on logging roads. Security issues for concern are limited to the normal pivot pin being easily removed by a thief with a few tools and a one-bike carry would be especially easy to walk away with half the carrier still locked to the bike. I add a small cable locked to bike and hitch security ring in high-theft areas (or avoid them) and a buddy is going to tack-weld the pin-bolt for me soon (I have done this with all my previous folding carriers with a pin). Cost is high with the retractable cable option but service-life and ease of use ultimately should be worth it.
