Picked up a load warrior used from a buddy for my daily driver (2010 Outback), and I regret nothing. I have hauled lumber, a fire pit, amongst tons of the usual crap to camp. The thing is phenomenal, and barely affected my gas mileage. Go ahead and buy one.
Great Addition To My Truck

I put the Load Warrior on my Toyota Tacoma and love it. I added mounts for a shovel and axe. I use it to keep additional fuel and water cells when traveling in the back country. It was definitely worth the investment.

I bought the Loadwarrior based on the necessity to add cargo space for long trips in my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. I love that I can toss bulky things on the roof and not really worry about it. The sides are high enough that you don't have the worry about things you put in it flipping out! Super easy to install and light enough to take on and off as needed. Paired with Yakima's cargo net, you can't go wrong!
Easy to install on 16-4 Runner with Factory Crossbars.
Subaru Crosstrek '16

Just put this on my Crosstrek which has the Subaru cross bars pre-installed. First the instructions are straight forward but vague at the same time. Step 1 says to ensure cross bars are 30in apart.... measured from where though? So I had to make adjustments once the basket was on top. Then putting the basket together everything went smooth until one of the screws that secures the two baskets ends together didn't go in. So that was annoyance #2. Securing the basket to the rails, had to switch sides where I place the rear mounts or else they'd be on the crossbar base like with the Xterra guy.
At the end of the day it fits pretty solid on the crossbar, so I'm happy with it. Hope there's nomore issues and I can actually carry needed snow gear when the weather gets here in a couple weeks

Bought this (with the extension) for my wife's '08 Forester. It nearly extends the length of her roof top. This gave us the ability to throw bulky items on top while freeing up more cargo area inside. On camping trips we typically use it for camping chairs, a 10' x 10' EasyUP, packs, tire chains, camp stove, etc. It also comes in handy for larger items that I might buy from the local home improvement center or luggage on a trip, etc.. I always keep several bungie cords in the back of the car for such occasions. The Yakima stretch net is also a great item when there are several things to secure or as added peace of mind when taking longer trips on the highway.
hard to install on an acura mdx
Review by ron
The load warrior did not have a good fit with a 2008 acura mdx. The acura mdx has a fix crossbar and installing the load warrior brackets were very hard. Took me several hours to adjust and try to fit it in the factory crossbars. May have to return the product. Would have been nice if the connection of the two baskets had an adjuster so you can slide it based on the crossbar spacing of the vehicle.

Purchased a Loadwarrior rooftop basket. This thing is a beast. I have had it on my vehicle since I bought it. Great finish, netting works great, easy to install!
Will be buying one for my son's truck this fall!

I bought this rack for my Nissan Frontier. It looks great and assembly / install was a breeze. I'd reccomend this Frontiers with factory roof racks... Nice product!
Fantastic size for Ford Escape XLT

This Yakima rack is perfect for firewood, duffle bags for vacation, or a spare tire. We purchased this because it frees up cargo space inside the cabin so 4 adults can actually travel in comfort and not feel crammed. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys the great outdoors and light trails.
